The FIFA 22 Ultimate edition is now out and those who have bought it will get an OTW player later this week but can now get 4,600 points.
Fans have been able to enjoy a trial via EA Play since September 23rd, and you can still play the 10-hour trial if you haven’t already. Seeing as reviews for the game appear to be middling, this will help you determine whether the game is worth buying right now or on October 1st.
However, if you’ve already bit the bullet and purchased the super expensive Ultimate edition, there are some exclusive bonuses you can claim.
When do I get my FIFA 22 OTW player?
The release date for when you will get your FIFA 22 OTW player pre-order bonus for the Ultimate edition is October 1st.
This is when EA will start releasing packs throughout the month of October. Fans will be able to bag 28 unique cards overall, and they will each feature a footballer who moved clubs during the 21/22 summer transfer window.
Unfortunately, out of the confirmed selection, you will not be able to select your Ones to Watch player card. It will be assigned to you randomly meaning you could get anyone from Cristiano Ronaldo to Jack Grealish to Ibrahima Konate.
Ultimate edition rewards
Below are all the bonuses and rewards for the Ultimate edition:
- FIFA 22 PS4 & PS5 (Xbox One/Series X)
- FUT Ones to Watch item
- 4 Days Early Access
- 4600 FIFA Points
- TOTW 1 Player
- Kylian Mbappé Loan Item
- FUT Ambassador Loan Player Pick
- Career Mode Homegrown Talent
Just so you know, the Ones to Watch player you receive will also be untradeable. This is potentially annoying for players who get someone who has a bad season or a footballer they didn’t want in the first place.
How to redeem 4,600 FIFA 22 points
You will get your 4,600 FIFA 22 FUT points on September 27th or when you buy the Ultimate edition.
These points weren’t available in the early access trial, but they should be available right now. It will allow you to buy a bunch of Ultimate Team packs and here’s hoping you have better luck than 99% of the population.
