Goliath season 4 dropped on Amazon Prime Video on September 24, 2021 and it’s a futuristic car that’s caught the eyes of viewers – what’s so special about the sleek vehicle?
Billy Bob Thornton is back after nearly two years to reprise his role as Billy McBride, a lawyer determined to crack down on the opioid crisis this season.
He relocates to San Francisco with Patty (Nina Arianda), where she has joined Margolis & True, a prestigious law firm headed by the secretive Sam Margolis (Jena Malone).
With a law firm in her control, Jena is not short of cash, which is evident as she pulls up to a meeting with George Zax (JK Simmons), Ivan Tillinger (Obba Babatundé), Dylan Zax (Haley Joel Osment) and Victor Russell (Norman Large) in a grey futuristic car that could rival the Tesla in episode 2 and episode 5.

The Lucid Air gives us car envy
Fans have identified the sleek vehicle to be a Lucid Air car, and yes, it’s definitely worthy of several fire flame emojis.
When the car approaches in the show, there’s barely any noise since it’s an electric vehicle like the Tesla; after all, they are the future.
The Lucid Air is a four-door saloon car by Lucid Motors. Designed by Derek Jenkins, who also contributed to the design of the Mazda MX-5, it is intended to rival against the leading luxury sports brands like Audi, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz; surprisingly, Tesla isn’t pinned as their main competitor.
Born in California, the Lucid Air was first introduced to the public in 2016 through a prototype, with a proposed price of approximately $160,000. The company constructed their factory in Casa Grande, Arizona, promising to begin production in 2018, but three years later, they still haven’t delivered their promise.
CEO Peter Rawlinson updated that they “are now tracking toward a start of production as early as we can in the second half of 2021”, citing Covid as the reason for their delay.

How much is the Lucid Air?
You better have a chunk of cash, because the Lucid Air starts at $77,400 before tax credit.
The cheapest option is named the ‘Air Pure’ and it’s not just a pretty face, or your usual family car – with 480 horsepower and the ability to complete a quarter-mile in 9.9 seconds at 144 mph, it’s ridiculously fast.
Lucid states that the base model has a driving range of 406 miles, matching the Touring model ($95,000), the next step up in their collection.
The Grand Touring costs a hefty $139,000, but you’re paying for the upgraded 800 horsepower and estimated range of 516 miles.
