Tim Sherwood has said on Premier League Productions that Tottenham Hotspur head coach Nuno is not playing Dele Alli in the right position.
The former Tottenham manager believes that head coach Nuno is playing Alli in the wring position in midfield.
The 25-year-old England international has been played in a deeper position in midfield from where he has been allowed to drive forward.
Sherwood believes that Nuno needs to play Alli as the number 10 in the team.
The Englishman said on Premier League Productions: “Get Dele Alli in his correct position which is a number 10.
“We saw him play with Pochettino. He burst into the box, he anticipates where the ball is going to go.”

What to do with Dele Alli?
When on form, Alli is a brilliant midfielder who can get into the opposition’s box without being marked and score goals.
The Englishman is combative and is already ready for a challenge.
The Tottenham no.20 has scored one goal in five Premier League appearances for Spurs so far this season.

Back in 2017-18, Alli scored nine goals and gave 10 assists in the league, while in 2016-17, he scored 18 goals and provided seven assists in the league.
Now, the England international cannot get those sorts of numbers from a deeper position in midfield and will have to be played further forward if he is to be a goal-threat.
