Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has praised striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ahead of the match against Nuno’s Tottenham Hotspur, as quoted in Football.London.
Arteta has said that he is confident that Aubameyang will start banging in the goals for fun.
The Arsenal boss has also praised the Gabon international striker for his performance against Burnley in the Premier League last weekend.
The Gunners will take on Tottenham in the North London derby this weekend, and Aubameyang is likely to start.
Arteta told Football.London about Aubameyang: “And now I think now he’s been in really good form.
“I think the way he played at Burnley, even if he didn’t score a goal, it was extraordinary the way he played for the team. So we are expecting him to do the same.”
The Arsenal boss added: “He will (score). He’s generated the chances.
“We have to generate more and we have to put him through in more occasions because we know how he’s going to end up. He’s in good form.”

Getting better
We all know that Aubameyang struggled badly last season.
The Arsenal striker scored only 10 starts in 26 Premier League starts and scored just three goals in eight Europa League matches.
Aubameyang is far from his best at the moment, but the signs are positive.

The Arsenal no.14 has scored one goal in the Premier League and scored a hat-trick against West Bromwich Albion in the Carabao Cup.
What is clear about Aubameyang now is that he is getting chances and is getting into positions from where he can potentially score.
According to BBC Sport, the 32-year-old’s shot accuracy rate is 78% and goal conversion rate is 44%.
The striker will be keen on bagging a goal or two for Arsenal in the North London derby against Spurs.
