Kanye West is releasing another bizarre shoe this week, the Yeezy Knit Runner.

He’s already had huge success this year with his Yeezy Slide Pure, which became the shoe of the summer.

His strange Yeezy Foam Runner has also been a real hit, but it’s definitely a love-it-or-hate-it kind of shoe.

Now, he’s back with the brand new Yeezy Knit Runner, which is pretty funky, but bound to be popular.

If you’re thinking of copping the new shoe, here’s how much it’s rumoured to set you back.

What is the Yeezy Knit Runner?

Kanye’s new Yeezy Knit Runner, or YZY KNIT RNR as it’s officially known, is a sock-like shoe with a rubber sole.

As the name suggests, it’s like a knitted jumper for your foot, clinging to the foot and ankle tightly.

Think about the Balenciaga Speed sock trainers, it’s along the same lines, but wider and lower on the ankle.

It’s also pretty similar in shape and style to the Foam Runner, but switches out the foam for a knitted material.

When is it being released?

The Yeezy Knit Runner will drop today, September 23rd.

It’s only being released in one colourway to begin with, called “Sulfur”.

“Sulfur” ia a two-tone shoe with a mustard rubber base, mustard knitted body and tan upper.

It will drop exclusively on Yeezy Supply at 8 a.m. ET and people are recommended to order half a size up.

How much will they cost?

The retail pricing has not officially been announced, but it is rumoured to be around $200.

Kanye’s Yeezy Foam Runner only retailed at $80, but the Knit Runner is a proper trainer, so is expected to cost more.

Yeezy’s most popular trainer, the Yeezy Boost, retails at between $200 and $220, so buyers are expecting it to be similar.

However, the resale price will be far more, so it’s always best to try and buy them in the official launch.
