The agent of Noa Lang has said that the Club Brugge star and Leeds United target is on the radar for Serie A giants AC Milan.
In an interview with CalcioMercato, Lang’s agent, Bart Baving, confirmed that the Italian club are keen on the 22-year-old winger. Leeds had chased the youngster for most of the summer, but Marcelo Bielsa’s side were unable to complete a deal.
Since then, Lang has exploded onto the scene in Europe. The attacker starred for Brugge in their UEFA Champions League opener against PSG, with the silky forward going toe-to-toe with the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi, and impressing.
Indeed, performances like this will always attract interest from big clubs. And for Leeds, this will work against them with Milan now in the market for Lang.
As reported by Sport Voetbal Magazine via the Yorkshire Evening Post, Brugge value the youngster at £30m.
Leeds face a mountain to sign Lang. And according to the player’s agent, Milan are already sniffing around for the Dutch attacker.
Baving said: “It’s true, I know the Rossoneri appreciate him a lot, but I repeat, it’s normal that a player with his statistics and numbers can be of interest to so many teams.”
The news will come as a blow for the Elland Road side, who in the summer were the only major club chasing Lang before his explosion onto the European scene this season. And with Milan now in the mix, it will be an uphill struggle for Leeds to win the race for the attacker.
