Liverpool continue to be linked with a move for Franck Kessie.

Even after the transfer window shut, the Reds are still rumoured to be keen on the AC Milan midfielder.

Kessie is reported to have rejected Milan’s latest contract offer earlier this month and as things stand, he is set to leave the Italian side on a free next summer.

And if Liverpool are still in the reckoning by then, Jurgen Klopp, being Jurgen Klopp, has a major chance of bringing him to Anfield.

But some Milan fans think that the Ivory Coast international is already dreaming of a move away from San Siro.

The Italian giants drew 1-1 with Juventus on Sunday night and the supporters feel that Kessie is playing like a man who doesn’t want to be in the red and black of the Rossoneri any longer.

Here’s what they’re saying on Twitter:

Could Liverpool move happen?

It isn’t impossible, no.

Il Milanista reported that Liverpool were due to hold talks with Milan earlier this month, with a previous claim from Italy suggesting that the Reds could snap him up for only £7.5 million in January.

If Kessie isn’t staying, and has made that clear, Milan need to sell up this winter to avoid losing him on a Bosman.

Of course, Liverpool could just wait six more months and sign him for nothing, but Klopp might need another midfielder by then.

With Harvey Elliott out for the long term, and Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain being a tad injury prone, the Anfield side may well need another reliable midfielder as soon as possible.
