Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has told the club’s official website that Thiago is ready to explode this season.
Klopp has outlined the problems that Thiago has faced since joining Liverpool from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2020.
The Liverpool boss has said that coronavirus and injury affected Thiago last season.
The German coach has added that a lot more is yet to come from the 30-year-old Spain international midfielder, suggesting that he could explode this season.
Klopp told Liverpool’s official website about Thiago: “Much more, because the start was not perfect. He came here, got COVID, got injured early and stuff like this.
“That, of course, makes things more difficult but he showed what kind of player he can be for us and will be for us. So, there’s a lot more to come, of course.
“Maybe it’s now a year but if you want it’s actually only half a year because of all the things that happened around. Coming to a new club in the most difficult period of all our lives, he settled really well despite that.
“His family is here, loves it here. He’s in the middle of the team – it was very quick the case – and he’s a really good character and really good personality and obviously a world-class player. So, all fine. “

Big player for Liverpool
Thiago has started the season strongly.
Against Leeds United at Elland Road in the Premier League last weekend, the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich star showed his quality by controlling the tempo of the game and making it easier for his team in the middle of the park.
The Liverpool no.6 has made one start and two substitute appearances in the Premier League so far this season.

Thiago has given one assist in those games.
For Liverpool to win the Premier League and the Champions League this season, Thiago will have to be on top of his game throughout.
This is the season when Thiago could show what he is capable of and explode for Liverpool.
Thiago has scored one goal in 27 Premier League appearances for Liverpool so far in his career.
