There was good and potentially bad news for Arsenal at Burnley this afternoon.

On the one hand, the Gunners beat Sean Dyche’s side 1-0 to make it back-to-back victories in the Premier League.

On the other, it might’ve come at a cost.

That’s because Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey came off with a possible injury in the final quarter in what was his first start of the season…..due to injury.

Worryingly, it was the Ghana international himself who called on Mikel Arteta to substitute him in what seems like a concerning gesture.

Time will tell what is wrong with the Arsenal powerhouse – if anything – but another injury this soon after coming back would be devastating and some fans of the North Londoners are certainly fearing the worst after seeing him request to be subbed.

Is Partey injured again?

That remains to be seen.

All we know for sure is that the former Atletico Madrid had a flawless fitness record during his time in Spain.

But since coming to Arsenal, it’s clear that something about Premier League life just doesn’t agree with his body.

And it’s dreadful because on his day, he is a fantastic asset for Arteta.

But the injuries are making it very difficult for him to establish any momentum and the supporters wait with bated breath now to see if he has indeed suffered a setback.
