A number of Twitter users have been surprised to see Tomi Lahren take the side of Nicki Minaj following their online feud in 2019.

The ‘Super Bass’ artist has become the talk of social media after she came forward with claims about the vaccine’s side effects, causing stir on mainstream and social media.

Nicki alleged that she was in a “Twitter jail”, which translates to a ban from the social media platform, but a spokesperson for the tech company denied those claims and said they “did not take any enforcement action on the account referenced.”

In the latest development of the situation, what surprised a number of people is that Nicki received support from Tomi Lahren following their viral feud a few years ago.

Tomi Lahren and Nicki Minaj feud resurfaces

The online feud between Tomi and Nicki resurfaced on social media after the Fox News contributor shared her support for the rapper.

In 2019, Nicki took to Twitter and condemned Tomi’s trolling of 21 Savage’s arrest. The conservative host tweeted at the time: “I got one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight ICE agents ready to deport ya.”

This led to a heated Twitter exchange between Nicki and Tomi for some time, while Cardi B also chimed in the response of the Fox News host.

But following Nicki’s Twitter posts about the vaccine’s side effects, Tomi has voiced her support and said that the singer is “showing the world that freedom works for everyone”.

People react on Twitter

It’s safe to say that a number of Twitter users didn’t expect Tomi to be an “ally” of Nicki, given their viral feud in 2019.

One person reacted: “You done reppin Caitlyn? Nicki your new hero now? How quickly you move on.”

“I’m not even going to mock this one. Just wow, Tomi,” added someone else.

Meanwhile, another one tweeted: “That’s what needs to happen more, people from all sides uniting.”
