It’s been one hell of a busy year for film fans so far…
Not only have we had to check out lots of highly anticipated 2021 movies, but there have also been a wealth of films arriving that had their release dates delayed last year.
From Zack Snyder’s Justice league to Malignant, there has been something for fans of superhero cinema, horror, and all that great stuff in between.
Recently, audiences have found themselves looking ahead to the likes of Dune and Spencer in the wake of their world premieres. Of course, let’s not forget No Time to Die in the distance either; maybe it’ll actually release this time. Wild.
On the other hand, a film you no longer have to wait impatiently for is the latest from Michael Showalter, who previously helmed The Big Sick and The Lovebirds.
So, here’s where to watch The Eyes of Tommy Faye.

“For me, it was important”
While in conversation with RogerEbert.com, Jessica Chastain was asked why it was so important to see this story through Tammy’s eyes:
“For me, it was important to see it through her eyes because our understanding, at least my understanding of her, was through what the media told me happened. They had connected her so strongly to her husband. And the media was more concerned with how much mascara she was wearing rather than what she was saying and doing. “
Reflecting back on her experience watching the documentary, the American actress added: “When I saw the documentary, I was so blown away with how she saw the world and how she really led with love and how she was a trailblazer in terms of bringing [gay pastor] Steve Pieters on the show in that time and saying, ‘We as Christians are supposed to love everyone.’
The Eyes of Tammy Faye is now in cinemas.
