Some Celtic fans are loving what Moussa Dembele posted on Twitter after his current club beat Rangers on Thursday night.

The Gers kicked off their Europa League campaign with a defeat after losing 2-0 to Lyon at Ibrox.

Dembele spent a number of years as a Celtic player before joining the Ligue 1 side in the summer of 2018.

And although the 25-year-old missed the trip to Rangers, he was quick to post a cryptic tweet straight after the victory.

The former Fulham attacker, who joined Celtic under Brendan Rodgers in 2016, posted a snippet of the Tupac song Changes, which included the lyric ‘some things will never change’.

Dembele had a stellar record against Rangers, netting seven goals against team in two seasons as a Bhoy.

Here’s how some fans of the Parkhead club – whose side watched 4-3 away to Real Betis earlier in the night – responded to their former hero’s tweet:

Why did Dembele miss Rangers win?

According to The Daily Record, a muscle injury denied Dembele a return to Glasgow.

But the Frenchman, who won back-to-back trebles at Celtic, will be desperate to face Rangers in the return fixture.
