Noa Lang was pursued by Leeds United for most of the summer, and last night, the Dutch attacker went toe-to-toe with some of the best in Europe in PSG.
The Club Brugge attacker started for the Dutch side as Lionel Messi’s PSG rolled into town for their UEFA Champions League opener. Despite a star-studded XI, the French side threw away a 1-0 lead to draw 1-1.
Indeed, it was a sensational result for Brugge, who have to face off against Manchester City and RB Leipzig in the group. And for Leeds target Lang, he made a good account for himself in the biggest club competition in Europe.
The attacker marshalled the frontline for the Belgian side, with Lang out-performing Messi and Kylian Mbappe in the opening half by completing more dribbles than the PSG attackers.
Indeed, Leeds sporting director Victor Orta was keen to sign Lang as per the Atheltic during the summer. However, Marcelo Bielsa pulled the plug on a deal for the Brugge ace.
As you would expect on social media, though, Leeds fans are dreaming of what if Lang had joined the club during the window. With the winger impressing in Europe, other clubs could come sniffing in January.

And with the 22-year-old impressing against one of the most stacked sides in Europe, there’s endless possibilities as to how Lang could improve the current Leeds side.
