He didn’t look back, establishing himself as a mainstay of the first team midfield and making his 50th appearance for West Ham whilst still a teenager.

Declan Rice on FIFA 22 rating
The youngster’s progress is being recognised in the gaming world as well as the real world.
Declan Rice has found out his FIFA 22 rating and he’s offered an hilarious response.
Appearing alongside Jack Grealish on the England YouTube channel the West Ham star said prior to the reveal:
“If I’m an 80, I will snap this card in half. Genuinely, I will RKO or spear it!”
After seeing his card he was placated, ‘it’s not that bad, I’ll take it. A cheeky little 82, to be fair I’m happy with that’, Rice added.
One element did have him back up though, the Hammers midfielder commented on his 66 pace: ‘I’m not slow! I’m not slow, that’s the thing!’
