Liverpool have been hoovering up some of the most talented youngsters around in recent seasons. Significant investment in the youth ranks has left the academy sides well poised for this season’s UEFA Youth League. Twitter was left wowed by Liverpool wonderkid Kaide Gordon against AC Milan U19s.

Who is Kaide Gordon?

16-years-old and rated by many as the best in the country for his age, Liverpool signed Kaide Gordon from Derby County in the January transfer window.

The wonderkid had recently been given his senior debut by Wayne Rooney, the Manchester United legend had been impressed with the teenager having called him up to first team training.

Since moving to Merseyside the versatile forward has set the academy alight.

A standout performer for the U18s last term he scored on his debut for the U23s on the final day of the season.

As a result he’s moved up to the U23s permanently where he’s already established himself as one of the side’s most important players.

This week saw the UEFA Youth League kick off.

Liverpool wonderkid Kaide Gordon took on AC Milan U19s and he ran the Italians ragged.

Throughout the game he caused the visitors problems with his dribbling and pace.

The youngster can feel hard done by not having a penalty awarded in the second half when he was clearly impeded in the box.
