The Brazilian can’t really be blamed for the two goals but he did concede them.
Trent Alexander-Arnold – 8
The Scouser in the team netted the opener. He was also solid defensively.
Joel Matip – 6.5
The Cameroonian wasn’t found overly wanting but he did concede twice.
Joe Gomez – 6
The Englishman was at fault for the visitor’s opener, he’ll get up to speed soon.
Andy Robertson – 6
The Scotland captain was solid enough but again, his back four conecded two.
Fabinho – 7
The Lighthouse put in a decent enough shift in the midfield.
Naby Keita – 7.5
The Guinean was strong on and off the ball, if he stays fit this was a good building block.
Jordan Henderson – 9
The skipper led by example, keeping intensity high and grabbing an iconic goal.
Mo Salah – 9
The Egyptian King grabbed his customary goal despite missing the pen, a good show of resilience.
Diogo Jota – 6
The Portugal forward was largely anonymous, not much bad, not too good.
Divock Origi – 7
Fair play for the assist Divock. But come on, a goal was needed.
