Gabby Petito, a 22-year-old from New York, has gone viral online after she was reported missing on Saturday.

The Long Island native went missing whilst on a road trip across America with her fiancé in a white Ford Transit van.

They set off from Blue Point, New York on July 4th and were due to reach Portland, Oregon by Halloween, but Gabby’s last known location is Grand Teton, Wyoming.

Her fiancé Brian Laundrie returned home without her, which caused her family to launch a police investigation. However, Brian is refusing to cooperate with law enforcement.

Now, internet users are doing all they can to try and work out what happened to Gabby, including looking into detail at her social media profiles and YouTube channel.

What is Gabby Petito’s YouTube channel?

Shortly before setting off on her road trip, Gabby launched a YouTube channel to document her travels.

The channel is called Nomadic Static and currently has 6,000 subscribers.

Gabby only posted one video three weeks ago called “Van Life | Beginning our Van Life Journey”.

Gabby’s YouTube video explored

In the caption, Gabby said that the video was “a glimpse into our van adventures”.

She explained that they had previously crossed America in a Nissan Sentra and loved it so much that they decided to downsize their lives and travel full time.

However, they didn’t want to do it the expensive way, using AirBnB’s, so decided to transform the 2021 Ford Transit van.

“We quickly realized we had to come up with a solution if we wanted to continue traveling and living nomadically, so that’s why we handcrafted our own tiny van, a simple 2012 Ford Transit Connect, utilizing space with unique designs and features. Creating a space for both artistic expression and distance hiking,” she said.

In the video, Gabby put together a montage of different clips of the first part of their adventure, consisting of drone shots, beach clips and camping.

Brian and Gabby are on Instagram too

Gabby clearly wanted her social media career to take off and urged people who watched the video to follow them on Instagram too.

She had also been documenting their van journey on her Instagram @gabspetito, with pictures of herself in many different locations across Ameica.

They visited Arches National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, Zion National Park, Great Sand Dunes National Park, Monument Rocks, Colorado Springs and many other places before she went missing.

Brian had been posting photos of the trip on his Instagram @bizarre_design too, and the pair seemed to be having an incredible time, making her disappearance even stranger.
