Rappers Fat Joe and Ja Rule went head-to-head during the latest installment of Verzuz.

The latest edition of the music battle took place on Tuesday, September 14th at Madison Square Garden’s Hulu Theater in New York City.

The likes of Ashanti, Jadakiss and Remy Ma joined Fat Joe and Ja Rule in the Verzuz battle but there’s one question that many people are wondering about.

Ja Rule and Fat Joe brought a lot of nostalgia during their performances at the Verzuz battle.

Ja performed some of his well-known hits such as ‘Between Me And You’, ‘Livin’ It Up’ and ‘Down 4 U’. 

Ashanti joined the rapper for their famous song ‘Always On Time’, while Fat Joe brought out Nelly on the stage to perform the hits ‘Get It Poppin’ and ‘Hot In Herre’.

Fat Joe also performed the megahits ‘Flow Joe’, ‘John Blaze’ and ‘All the Way Up’.

Who won, according to fans?

Many fans believe that Ja Rule won against Fat Joe in the battle. The final score will be released today (September 15th) but a lot of people suspect that the ‘Always On Time’ artist came out as winner.

One fan tweeted: “I think Ja Rule won. Fat Joe didn’t start well. Joe used songs by Nelly and Big Pun (RIP), which he doesn’t even feature on. Joe eventually improved (after taking a break) – but it was too late. Ja won.”

Another one said: “Ja Rule won but he in no way, shape, or form a better rapper/artist than Fat Joe.”

Someone else added: “Fat joe or Ja rule ? I might be wrong but I think Ja won the battle!”
