Speaking on the Here We Go Podcast, Fabrizio Romano has delivered an update on Arsenal’s star man Bukayo Saka.

It’s no secret that Arsenal are having a tough time at the moment, and whenever any club is in a bad situation, there’s an opportunity for some better-placed sides to nab some of their top talents.

Romano is led to believe that some clubs have begun to ask about Bukayo Saka’s situation, but Arsenal view the teenager as untouchable.

What’s been said.

Romano was speaking about Arsenal and Bukayo Saka.

“I am happy for Arsenal, they’re back winning because the start of their season was terrible. I want to talk about Bukayo Saka, because some clubs are starting to approach Bukayo Saka, to watch Saka as one of the best players in his position for the future. Some clubs, they are not making bids or anything, but they are asking about the contract and everything. Arsenal consider this player untouchable. He is a player for the present and the future, and Arsenal are planning on building on Saka for the future,” Romano said.

Can’t sell him

Arsenal apparently view Saka as untouchable, and that’s exactly how they should see this situation.

The Gunners don’t have the capacity to sign so-called superstars at the moment, they’re not in the Champions League and don’t look likely to return to UEFA’s top competition for quite some time, so if they’re going to have players of this quality, they’re going to have to produce them on their own.

Saka is undoubtedly in that category. He was incredible last season, and aside from his missed penalty in the final, he was one of the stars of Euro 2020.

Arsenal need to keep hold of Saka no matter what.
