Kyle Walker-Peters has posted on Instagram that Tottenham’s Tanguy Ndombele has ‘too much swag’.

The Tottenham midfielder has found life tough this season because of his lack of game time and there were suggestions in the summer that he could head for the exit door.

But on Instagram, he seemed, by the training pictures he posted, to be in a jovial mood.

He was also interacting with several of his teammates in the comments section of his Instagram post, and once again, seemed pretty positive.

Walker-Peters, who played alongside Ndombele for a brief period, wrote: “Hahaha too much swag.”, as the Frenchman also donned a new look.

Either way, all of this is good to see because it’s not easy warming the bench, or for most parts this season, not even being in the matchday squad.

It also needs to be remembered that Ndombele is Tottenham’s club-record signing, so if they have to part ways with him then a certain Daniel Levy might have to take a big hit.

This isn’t the first time the former Lyon man has been in this situation because he needed a kick up the backside under Jose Mourinho, and it worked.

Whilst there were some inconsistencies to Ndombele’s game, he was still producing top-quality performances on occasions and earning regular minutes.

But it now seems as though Oliver Skipp, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Harry Winks are ahead of him in the midfield pecking order, not forgetting Dele Alli, who plays further forward.

Spurs fans would perhaps agree with Skipp and Hojbjerg being ahead of Ndombele, but he is probably unlucky not to get ahead, or at the very least, compete with the others for their places.
