Gabriel Agbonlahor has said on talkSPORT that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane wishes that he was at a different club.
The former Aston Villa striker has claimed that the body language of Kane during Tottenham’s defeat to Crystal Palace this past weekend showed that he is fed up.
Spurs, who went down to 10 men in the second half, lost 3-0 to Palace at Selhurst Park in the London derby this past Saturday.
During the Premier League game, Kane did not have a shot or a touch inside the opposition’s box.
The 28-year-old England international was wanted by Manchester City in the summer transfer window, but no move materialised.
Agbonlahor said about Kane on talkSPORT: “Harry Kane looked a bit fed up today. I am a big believer of body language. I am looking at him. He looked very fed up. He probably thinks to himself, ‘I just wish that move had gone through’.”
Does Gabriel Agbonlahor have a point?
Now, we have to be clear that it is Agbonlahor’s opinion that Kane is fed up.
The striker himself has said nothing of that sort.
However, given that Agbonlahor is a former striker who played in the Premier League with Villa, we have to at least consider his comments.
Kane did look frustrated against Palace.
As you can see from the stats below, it was a really tough afternoon for the striker.
Now, one game in which Kane did not get chances does not mean that it will happen all the time.
