Celtic chose to terminate Olivier Ntcham’s contract this summer, and he has already made a bright start to life at Swansea City.

Celtic announced on August 1st that Ntcham’s deal had come to an end. After four years with the Bhoys, his time was up.

Chris Sutton had backed him for a Celtic revival, but it just didn’t happen.

Having spent the second half of last season on loan at Marseille, Ntcham returned to Celtic with no future under Ange Postecoglou.

Exactly a month after leaving Celtic, Ntcham made the move to Swansea City.

The Swans were more than happy to take Ntcham on a free transfer, bolstering Russell Martin’s squad.

At 25, Ntcham is far from a lost cause. Swansea clearly feel they can get Ntcham back to his best. After all, Ntcham hit 23 goals in his first three Celtic seasons from midfield.

On Saturday, Martin threw Ntcham straight into his starting lineup. Swansea played out a 0-0 home draw with Swansea, but Ntcham impressed.
