Some Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to Takehiro Tomiyasu’s debut for the Gunners against Norwich City today.
What’s the story?
Tomiyasu was in action for Arsenal in their Premier League game against Norwich at the Emirates Stadium this afternoon.
The 22-year-old, who can play as a central defender or as a right-back, joined Arsenal from Italian club Bologna on summer transfer deadline day.
The Japan international made his debut for the Gunners today against Norwich at home.

As you can see from the tweets below, Arsenal fans were impressed by the display produced by Tomiyasu.

Tomiyasu started the match at right-back and played well defensively as well as in attack.
Yes, there were some moments when the youngster appeared caught out and unsure, but we have to consider the fact that this was the first time he was playing for Arsenal.
The youngster looked very confident going forward and could have actually scored.
Tomiyasu took two shots, had a pass accuracy of 69%, won seven headers, took 49 touches, attempted one dribble, made one tackle and two clearances, and put in one cross.
