Kris Boyd has reminded Celtic fans of the team’s terrible record away from home in the Scottish Premiership, as quoted in The Scottish Sun.

The former Rangers striker has pointed out that Celtic have not won a single game on the road in the league since February 2021.

Boyd wrote in The Scottish Sun: “Going seven months without a single domestic victory away from Parkhead is unheard of.

“Incredibly, the Hoops have not claimed three away points in the Premiership since they beat St Johnstone 2-1 at McDiarmid Park in February.”

Away form needs to get better

It is really astonishing that Celtic have been so poor away from home.

Now, you could argue that the Hoops did not have a great campaign last season, but they were still the second-best team in the Scottish Premiership.

Celtic are doing well at the moment, and it is clear that the under manager Ange Postecoglou, they are back to being a force to be reckoned with.

However, the Hoops lost to Rangers 1-0 away from home at Ibrox in the Old Firm derby before the international break.

Celtic are playing against Ross County at Celtic Park in the league today.

The former Scottish Premiership champions are likely to win the match, but they need to seriously start winning matches on the road.

Celtic are sixth in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with six points from four matches, three points behind defending champions and third-placed Rangers and four points behind leaders Hibernian.
