Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on social media have been reacting after it was reported that Oliver Skipp is hopeful that he’ll be fit for this weekend’s game against Crystal Palace.

The midfielder has been a key player for the London club this season, but this week he limped off for the England U21s, understandably, causing all sorts of concern amongst the fanbase.

Luckily though, it seems as though the issue he picked up on international duty doesn’t seem to be too serious, and now he’s hoping to be able to play this weekend.

Whether or not Skipp does start against Palace remains to be seen, but fans on social media are certainly hopeful that he’ll be able to play in this London derby.

The reaction to this news just goes to show how much Skipp has impressed so far this season – fans are desperate to see him in the squad on a weekly basis, and after his showings so far for Spurs, it’s not surprising to see that he’s already a fan favourite.

Skipp has previously been described as ‘unbelievable’ in the past, and he’s certainly lived up to that billing so far this term.
