What are NMS Twitch drops?

In short, NMW Twitch drops are a way of bagging yourself some cool rewards.

By watching set time slots of streamers with the No Man’s Sky tag, gamers can earn goodies, credited to the latest Frontiers update on NMS.

The official No Man’s Sky website reads: “To celebrate the launch of the latest FRONTIERS update and the CARTOGRAPHERS expedition, we have teamed up with a few streamer friends for No Man’s Sky’s second Twitch Drops event. Twitch Drops are free items awarded to players for watching selected streams on Twitch.tv.”

How to earn NMS Twitch drops

As we mentioned, Twitch drops are earned by watching NMS Twitch streamers.

The partnership is set to run between Thursday, September 9th and Monday, September 13th. During these dates, gamers can collect a wealth of rewards every day at 6AM PST / 9AM EST / 2PM BST.

As per this source, you’ll need to collect your earning within 24 hours after watching via the Quicksilver store aboard the Space Anomaly.

To start taking advantage of the partnership, you’ll need to have your Twitch account connected to your No Man’s Sky. Don’t worry, it’s relatively simple to do.

Simply hop on to the No Man’s Sky Twitch setup website, sign in with your Twitch login details and choose your native platform.

Previous drops have included an RGB Firework pack, a mind-blown gesture, and a rainbow jetpack trail.
