Tottenham Hotspur defender Maksim Paskotsi was in action for Estonia on Wednesday night, helping them claim a 0-0 draw away at Wales.

Few were really giving Estonia much of a chance of picking up a result against Wales, especially having lost to Northern Ireland on Sunday.

They managed to frustrate Wales though, keeping Robert Page’s side at bay in a goalless draw down in Cardiff.

Wales had 66% of possession and managed 20 shots, but they couldn’t break down Estonia with Paskotsi once again impressing.

Paskotsi, 18, joined Tottenham from FC Floria in Estonia last year, recording five goals in 19 games in the Under-18 Premier League – a hugely impressive record.

The teenager made his senior debut for Tottenham last month, coming on for just three minutes as Tottenham lost 1-0 away at Pacos de Ferreira.

Tottenham have high hopes for Paskotsi, and for him to have seven senior caps already is a major sign of his potential.

Paskotsi’s impressive display caught the attention of Tottenham fans, who were taking to Twitter on Wednesday night to rave about his performance.

Some believe that Paskotsi is a star in the making, believing that he has all the tools to become an ‘elite’ defender in the future.

Others love how fast Paskotsi looks, and may even cry after seeing him go on a marauding run forward from defence.
