West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to react after hearing that Alex Kral injured Andriy Yarmolenko, as Ukraine took on the Czech Republic.
What’s the story?
Well, the West Ham duo both started last night’s 1-1 draw, which saw Burnley’s Matěj Vydra salvage a point with a 93rd minute equaliser.
Before that, however, Kral caused his West Ham teammate serious pain after flying into a crunching tackle on the £17.5m forward.
As tweeted by Zorya Londonsk – a Ukrainian football page – Yarmolenko let out a load scream after the challenge, before rolling around in pain on the pitch.

It’s not exactly the best way for Kral to introduce himself to his new West Ham teammate.
In fact, it may actually be the first time they’ve met since Kral completed his deadline day move to the London Stadium!
Alex Kral injuring Andriy Yarmolenko could be a blow for West Ham
Judging by some nasty responses to Kral injuring Yarmolenko, it seems some supporters don’t think he offers much value to David Moyes.
However, it would be a big blow if the 31-year-old is injured for a while, especially with the fixtures coming up.
The Irons take on Dinamo Zagreb next week, meaning they have three games in eight days as it’s sandwiched between clashes with Southampton and Manchester United.
Michail Antonio has also been playing for Jamaica over the international break, and we all know how injury prone he can be.
If Moyes loses his in-form No.9, Yarmolenko will be needed as Moyes doesn’t have another recognised centre-forward in his ranks.
Let’s see what the West Ham fans on Twitter have been saying about Kral injuring Yarmolenko…

Kral injuring Yarmolenko is probably the most West Ham thing to happen— Ibby (@1bbyWHU) September 8, 2021
Don’t understand this at all. Yarmo getting injured is likely to be a massive blow to us, he’s our only other ‘striker’ if Antonio gets injured, why would anyone be happy with this news..?— PugBubble (@PugBubble) September 8, 2021
There’s no way Kral just injured yarmolenko man only at West Ham 😂— Ryan (@TTM_Portly) September 8, 2021
