Kieran Trippier has labelled Liverpool summer target Jude Bellingham as an ‘unbelievable talent’, as he told his press conference.
The 18-year-old is one of the top talents in Europe and there is a reason why the likes of Liverpool were keen on signing him this summer, according to Eurosport.
On Sunday, Bellingham started for England, who beat Andorra 4-0 in a World Cup qualifier at Wembley.
The teenager started in the middle of the park, alongside Liverpool duo Jordan Henderson and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Perhaps something that Liverpool supporters would like to see on a more regular basis, but on the domestic stage!?
Nonetheless, Trippier would have played with and against many top talents during his career, and he is impressed with what he sees from Bellingham.
“Jude, since I first trained with him, for such a young age, you see the maturity from him,” said Trippier.
“The way he plays for his club. For his country – he’s an unbelievable talent for such a young age.
“For sure, he has got a bright future ahead of him.”
Both Bellingham and Trippier are thriving outside of England and it just goes to show how moving out of your comfort zone can enhance your game.
The versatile fullback won the La Liga title with Atletico Madrid last season, and he will be hoping his side can retain their crown this time around, especially with Barcelona and Real Madrid in an utter mess.
Whilst Bellingham is part of a host of some serious top talent at Dortmund, including the recently departed Jadon Sancho and perhaps the best of the best of the lot, Erling Braut Haaland.
