On Monday, September 6, beloved Hollywood star Michael K Williams was found dead in his NYC apartment. While many are mourning the actor’s death, some are keen to learn about his net worth.
A report in The Sun reveals that the actor was discovered by his nephew, face down in his Brooklyn Penthouse. While Michael’s cause of death remains unconfirmed so far, the report mentions that the 54-year-old actor was found surrounded by illegal drug paraphernalia.

Cause of Michael’s death explored
NYPD deputies revealed to The Sun on Monday, that “Michael was found dead by a relative around 2 pm today at his Kent Avenue apartment in Brooklyn.” He was alone in his penthouse when his nephew found him.
Another report in NY Post reveals that aside from the drug paraphernalia, heroin was also found in the apartment, suggesting a possible overdose as the actor’s cause of death. However, an official confirmation about the cause hasn’t been released just yet.
Michael is survived by his son Elijah Williams. He was also close to his family, especially his nephews. On Monday evening, Michael’s nephew was pictured sobbing outside the star’s NYC apartment.
Another one of Michael’s nephews paid tribute to the star in an emotional video captured outside of the actor’s home. The grief-stricken family member said: “He was very positive, he loved Brooklyn and always did positive things for his community. He always gave back and did stuff for the kids.”
