Some Wolves fans on social media have been reacting after the club were listed in a group of brands available in NBA2k22.
NBA2k may be a basketball game, but it has evolved to be so much more than that, with each player being something of a fashion statement.
Indeed, some of the top clothing brands from across the world are available to wear in 2k, and now Wolves have joined that esteemed group.
It’s rather bizarre, it has to be said. After all, we can’t imagine LeBron James is a regular at Molineux, but given the club’s owners’ keen interest in Esports in recent years, it begins to make a lot more sense.
Fosun may want to extend their Esports involvement into the NBA 2k space, and this brand deal does give them a foot in the door.
Wolves fans loved this update. Some of the fanbase are keen gamers, so they’re looking forward to rocking these pieces of merchandise in-game, while others love the exposure their brand will be getting here as it will undoubtedly lead to increased revenue that could then be spent on signings, with one fan even asking for the club to sign Sven Botman after this update.
Here’s what Wolves supporters have been saying on social media about their involvement in the new game…
