Rangers defender Filip Helander has sparked an injury concern for the Light Blues while away on international duty after Sweden manager Janne Andersson confirmed the centre-back was a doubt for Wednesday’s clash with Greece.

Helander was nowhere to be seen yesterday when Sweden faced Uzbekistan in a friendly, just days after Helander earned rave reviews in their win over Spain in Solna.
While Andersson did say Helander has been training on his own, he wouldn’t give a firm answer on whether the Rangers star will be fit for Wednesday’s meeting in Athens.
“Filip Helander (has) run individually in the gym. Some players have been given an adapted training load and will step up gradually,” Andersson said.
“It’s too early to say (if he’ll face Greece). We can’t take it for granted.”
Helander was one of the Swede’s standouts as they condemned Spain to their first defeat in World Cup qualifying since 1993.
The Ibrox star’s performance rounded off a great week for him after scoring the winner in last weekend’s Old Firm win at Ibrox.

With Rangers kicking off their Europa League group stage campaign in little over a week, the Gers will be hoping Helander’s injury problem isn’t anything serious.
