The PS Now September 2021 free games have been confirmed prior to the release date for this month’s PlayStation Plus offerings.

There’s a bevy of fantastic titles coming out this month, but September is particularly exciting for PlayStation loyalists as Sony is hosting a brand new showcase event on the 9th. It will be 40-minutes long and provide fans with a much-needed glimpse into the future of the PS5 and all of its upcoming games.

While we hope to see the likes of God of War Ragnarok and other surprises later this week, PlayStation players will be able to download and play some new freebies before then.

What are the new PS Now September 2021 games?

One of the confirmed new PS Now September 2021 free games is Final Fantasy VII.

The other freebies are as follows:

  • Tekken 7
  • Killing Floor 2
  • Windbound
  • Ghost of a Tale
  • Moonlighter
  • Pathfinder Kingmaker

These titles were leaked courtesy of PlayStation Portal, but they have now been confirmed by Sony. Just so you know, Final Fantasy VII is the 1997 version rather than the stunning remake, and five Final Fantasy titles will be added to PS Now between September and January including the greatest of all, Final Fantasy IX, in November.

How much does PlayStation Now cost?

It costs either £8.99 per month, £22.99 every three months, or £49.99 every year.

If you haven’t subscribed before, you can enjoy a seven day trial. However, if you don’t enjoy the free sample, make sure to disable your subscription in settings as you will be set up with an automatic renewal.

September 2021 will be amazing especially with Pathfinder Kingmaker, but there’s hundreds of other fantastic titles including Red Dead Redemption 2. Ghost Runner is a unique offering that has been made easier to play, Nioh 2 is available for those who seek a Dark Souls alternative, and Tokyo Olympics is a cute party game where you can dress up as Sonic.

Here are all the PS Now games currently available.
