Sir Kenny Dalglish has praised Tottenham Hotspur-owned Celtic central defender Cameron Carter-Vickers in The Sunday Post (print edition, page 75, September 5, 2021), and has hailed his attitude after watching him in a reserves game against Liverpool.
The Celtic and Liverpool legend believes that Carter-Vickers is a good signing for the Bhoys.
Dalglish watched the USA international in a reserves game between Tottenham and Liverpool.
The former Celtic star was impressed by the 23-year-old at the time, and he thinks that the American defender would make the Hoops better.
Dalglish wrote about Carter-Vickers in The Sunday Post (print edition, page 75, September 5, 2021): “I watched Carter-Vickers in action for Tottenham’s reserves in a game against Liverpool and he looked an excellent professional. His attitude was spot-on.
“The day before, he had been an unused sub for the first team, but still travelled to Merseyside in an exemplary frame of mind.”

No future at Tottenham Hotspur?
Carter-Vickers joined Celtic on loan from Premier League club Tottenham on summer transfer deadline day.
The Hoops have the option to make the loan deal permanent.
The American is 23 now and has yet to feature in the Premier League for Spurs.

It is hard to see Carter-Vickers have a long-term future at Spurs.
After all, the USA international has been out on loan at a number of clubs over the years, including Sheffield United, Stoke City and Bournemouth.
According to Transfermarkt.co.uk, the defender is out of contract at Spurs in the summer of 2023.
It will be interesting to see how Carter-Vickers does for Celtic in the coming weeks and months.
