Goal journalist Charles Watts has said on his YouTube channel that Arsenal youngster Charlie Patino has made a big impression on some of the senior Gunners players.
Arsenal played Brentford in a behind-closed-doors friendly at London Colney this past Thursday.
Patino did not start the match, but the 17-year-old came on as a substitute for fellow midfielder Mohamed Elneny in the 33rd minute.
Mikel Arteta’s side won 4-0.
Watts said on his YouTube channel: “I understand he made a big impression on some of his senior teammates as well.”
One for the future
Patino is only 17 and has been playing for the Arsenal Under-23 side.
The youngster has often been praised by the Arsenal fans, as we have covered here and here on HITC Sport.

The teenager is not yet ready to play week in and week out for the Arsenal first team.
However, it is certainly very positive and encouraging for the midfielder that he impressed senior Arsenal players against Brentford.

For now, Patino needs to continue to play well for the Arsenal youth team and make the most of the chances he gets to train with the senior side.
There is no rush whatsoever for Patino, who is only 17 and still needs to develop and progress.
Arsenal are in a rebuilding phase at the moment, and young players like Patino will be given chances in the coming years.
