Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani has congratulated Patrick Bamford on Twitter on making his debut for England against Andorra today.
Bamford has been included in the England starting lineup for their 2022 World Cup qualifier against Andorra.
It is also the Leeds striker’s birthday today.
Bamford has been superb for Leeds over the years, and the striker has deservedly got the call-up to the England squad this month.
The former Chelsea striker was probably unlucky not to be in the England squad for the Euro 2020 finals this summer.
After all, the Leeds no.9 scored 17 goals in the Premier League last season.

The striker also provided seven assists in the league last season.
Bamford played a big role in Leeds winning promotion to the Premier League as well.
The former Nottingham Forest striker scored 16 goals and gave two assists in 43 Championship starts during the 2019-20 campaign.

Bamford is at the top of his game now, and playing for England is only going to boost his confidence.
Do not be surprised if the striker soon establishes himself as a regular in the England squad.
Leeds will be aiming to finish in the top 10 of the Premier League table again this season, and Bamford will play a key role in that quest.
