There are also some concerns whether Liverpool owners, the Fenway Sports Group (FSG), would be willing to fund a move for Rice, who is likely to cost a lot of money.

West Ham are an established club in the Premier League who will play in the Europa League this season.

The Hammers do not have to sell their best players because of financial reasons.
