There’s just something about horror and comedy that blends so damn well.

There have been so many films of the sub-genre making a splash in recent memory and the 2010s arguably delivered some of the absolute best.

If many were hard-pressed to choose a favourite, we’d wager that 2014’s What We Do in the Shadows would come out pretty close to the top. It’s a film that you simply don’t want to end, which is a shame considering it’s under an hour and a half long.

What isn’t a shame, on the other hand, is that a series followed in its footsteps, bringing the same winning humour and more bloodsuckers.

Since premiering in 2019 it has been championed as one of the funniest shows on TV, attracting an impressive plethora of talent.

Now, the time has finally come to dive back in, so let’s consider how to watch What We Do in the Shadows season 3 in the UK…

How to watch What We Do in the Shadows season 3 in the UK

The third season began premiering on Thursday, September 2nd at 10 pm ET / PT on FX in the US.

Audiences were treated to two episodes back-to-back and the third installment is set to air on Thursday, September 9th 2021 at the same time. Unfortunately, episodes are yet to be broadcast in the UK. Episodes will likely be screened by the BBC after the finale premiere, which is in late October. Taking this into consideration, we could see season 3 broadcast in the UK as early as November 2021.

However, you can still access the latest season in the UK now courtesy of a VPN.

With a VPN, you can watch the show thanks to such networks as Sling TV, which includes FX as part of the Sling Blue package. It usually costs $35 a month but new customers have the option of paying just $10 for their first month.

Alternatively, you can access FX with the likes of FuboTV, which also has a 7-day free trial.

Watching with a VPN?

If you’re unfamiliar, don’t have a VPN, and feel uncertain of the process, simply follow these quick and easy steps:

Step 1. Pick a VPN Tool

There are a wealth of VPN tools out there but we recommend the likes of Express VPN, VPN Hub, Panda, Cyber Ghost, Nord VPN, Pure VPN or Vypr VPN. All of them will cost a little bit of money, although some of the tools offer free 30-day trials.

Step 2. Download and Install

Simply sign up to your chosen VPN tool – usually via one, three, six or 12-month deals – and download the tool.

Step 3. Follow the Instructions

Each VPN tool comes with different guidelines. However, they’re all relatively easy to follow but may vary depending on whether you have a MacBook or Windows software.

Step 4. Watch What We Do in the Shadows season 3

With the VPN correctly set up, you should now be able to access any USA or worldwide website.

“Everyone has their limits”

While in conversation with Variety, Harvey Guillén (who plays Guillermo De la Cruz) was asked what audiences can expect from the latest batch of episodes:

“I can say one thing for sure: Everyone has their limits. Everyone can be pushed to the limit until they can’t take anymore. And I think that you will see that this season with Guillermo.”

You can expect things to be shaken up a bit too, as executive producer Stefani Robinson also commented on “plans for the show to go into completely different directions.”

Sink your teeth into that.
