7am on Bridle Path lyrics explored
Although not confirmed to be in reference to Mr. West, rap fans are pretty certain that 7am on Bridle Path includes some pretty cryptic messages.
On the track, Drake raps: “Give that address to your driver, make it your destination, Instead of just a post out of desperation
This me reachin’ the deepest state of my meditation
Why you over there tryna impress the nation?”
Again, it’s not confirmed to be about Ye, but we can’t help notice the references to ‘address’ and ‘post out of desperation’. Sound familiar?
The In My Feelings rapper later goes on to spit: “And look at the heroes fallin’ from grace in their older ages
If we talkin’ top three, then you been slidin’ to third like stolen bases”
These lyrics could, of course, be a nod towards Drake’s latest album and Kanye’s DONDA facing head-to-head for streams and sales.
