In a world dominated by social media, trolling is an increasingly big problem.

By definition, a troll is an online bully who leaves provocative or offensive messages on the internet with the intention of getting attention or upsetting someone.

Trolling has always existed on sites like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, but a whole new wave of trolling has emerged as the video-sharing site TikTok has gained popularity.

One person who has experienced this bullying first hand is Fabiola Baglieri, a TikTok star who was hurt when users started saying she looked like a certain TV character.

However, she’s now learned to embrace the comments, and now even uses them to her advantage…

People said she looks like Mr Bean

As Fabiola’s videos began going viral, people began nicknaming her ‘Female Mr Bean’ as they thought she resembled the British TV character played by Rowan Atkinson.

Comments flooded her videos claiming she was his look-alike, and she has recently opened up to LADbible about how much the trolling really upset her.

“Right after that video, people noticed that the initial makeup made me look like Mr Bean in the female version,” she said before adding: “Initially, I didn’t take it very well because I found it offensive.”

“It was not easy to see all those comments, it was like I was living in another reality, in which everyone feels able to offend someone just because they are behind a screen (the so-called keyboard warriors) practising what is known as cyberbullying,” she continued.

Fabiola jokes she’s ‘Mr Bean’s daughter’

After initially feeling very hurt by the comments, she now no longer lets them affect her.

“As the months went on, I realised that this was one of my strong points,” she told LADBible.

Fabiola’s TikTok bio even now says “I usually go from Mr Bean to Kendall Jenner,” showing that she fully embraced the comments and even used them to her advantage.

In her most recent video, she even joked that she’s Mr Bean’s daughter, writing: “Imagine being Mr Bean’s daughter, what a nightmare.”

The clip has sparked a lot of confusion as commenters were fooled and thought she really was Rowan Atkinson’s daughter.

“So what if you’re the daughter of Mr Bean. You should be proud! That was my favourite cartoon movie,” one person wrote.

Another said: “Do a video with your dad!”
