Football.London are reporting today (Transfer Live blog, 7:39am, August 31, 2021) that Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin will join Real Betis on transfer deadline day.
It is being reported that the right-back will return to his native Spain and will join up with La Liga outfit Betis.
The report does not mention if the transfer will be a loan deal or a permanent contract.
Arsenal exit was inevitable?
Of course, we cannot say for sure now that Bellerin will leave Arsenal for Betis today.
After all, it is transfer deadline day, and anything is possible.
Until and unless Bellerin has signed on the dotted line, anything is possible.

However, we can say that it was always likely that the 26-year-old would leave this summer.
Gianluca Di Marzio reported on his website on July 12 that Bellerin had told Arsenal that he wants to leave the Gunners.
And now, the former Barcelona prospect is on the verge of having his wish granted.

The 26-year-old is a regular in the Arsenal first team, and made 24 starts in the Premier League and six starts in the Europa League last season.
The right-back has had injury problems in recent years, and there are suggestions that he is not at the level he was a few years ago.
The Spanish right-back has scored eight goals in 183 appearances in the Premier League for Arsenal so far in his career.
