After months of waiting, Donda has finally been released! However, many fans have been wondering if there will be an explicit version of the album.

Kanye had been teasing Donda’s release for months. However, the only thing fans kept hearing was about the listening party.

After weeks and weeks of waiting, the rapper finally dropped his album on Sunday, August 29th. Shortly after this, he claimed that it was released without his permission. Despite this, fans were happy they were finally getting to hear his new music.

Will there be an explicit version for Donda?

As per Distractify, there is a possibility for Donda to have an explicit version as well. The outlet states it is likely that the rapper decided to drop a clean version for the radio play.

In the past, several musicians have had two versions of songs, one that is clean, and the other that is explicit. Keeping this in mind, we won’t be surprised if another version of the album is dropped.

It is important to note that Kanye’s listening party did have the explicit version of songs. Judging by this, it is quite likely the rapper is planning on releasing those at some point.

What did the rapper say about the release?

After Donda was released on all streaming platforms, Kanye claimed that the album was dropped without his permission.

In an Instagram post, he wrote: “UNIVERSAL PUT MY ALBUM OUT WITHOUT MY APPROVAL AND THEY BLOCKED JAIL 2 FROM BEING ON THE ALBUM.”

As Kanye said, when the album was released, Jail 2 was not available. However, after a couple of hours, the song was added. Kanye’s song Jail had been surrounded by controversy ever since it was revealed that Marilyn Manson and DaBaby have been featured on it.

Marilyn found himself in hot water earlier this year after he was accused of sexual assault by several women. Meanwhile, DaBaby was ‘cancelled’ on social media for the alleged homophobic comments he made during Rolling Loud. Despite this, Kanye decided to have the song in his album.
