When does Dune come out on HBO Max?

The official release date for 2021 sci-fi movie Dune is October 22nd.

The film will be released on both HBO Max and in cinemas.

According to CNET, the film’s director, Denis Villeneuve, “wasn’t exactly pleased with Warner Bros. simultaneous theatrical and HBO Max release plan“.

Timothée Chalamet’s character, Paul Atreides, opens the Dune trailer which provides viewers with a three-minute glimpse into what’s to come.

Dune 2021: Age rating

Sci-Fi novel adaptation Dune has been given an MPAA (Motion Picture Association) age rating of PG-13 due to “sequences of strong violence, some disturbing images, and suggestive material” as per Comic Book.

As per Tuppence Magazine, the film is yet to receive an age rating from the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC).

UK fans of Dune can expect an age rating closer to the film’s release date of October 22nd, 2021.
