My Hero Academia chapter 324: Spoiler and leaks
Spoiler warning: The following leaks are potential spoilers for the upcoming MHA chapter.
The title of the chapter is reportedly either ‘In Defence of a Boy’ or ‘A Young Boy’s Request’ and opens with Uraraka narrating that she always loved to see people happy. Even when she was watching a fight unfold, she always looked to those onlookers.
The civilians are starting to comment on Deku’s appearance, saying that he looks beaten and weakened. The giant woman argues back that after he saved her, he immediately left to continue the fight to save others.
One man asks Uraraka whether they are asking the civilians to be covered in mud and blood too, to which she replies that all they need to do is give Deku time to clean that mud and blood.
Everyone is impressed with the speech, with Iida commenting to Deku that she is fighting to protect everyone’s smile, including his. Deku begins to cry as the speech continues, with the narrative that heroes can’t put their minds at ease because they are also human and are afraid too.
Uraraka has another flashback to watching a fight involving a hero named Eel Boy as she asks the civilians to lend them their strength to get through the difficult time. However, she also remembers Aizawa in the hospital and Toga crying.
She exclaims that the civilians need to let Deku rest and that despite carrying the burden of his quirk, he is still only a high school student with much to learn.
As Deku falls to his knees, remembering the time when the two first met, we get a narration from an adult Deku saying that this is the story about how he became the greatest hero.
The giant woman and Kouta rush towards Deku as the narration closes the chapter: “And also, it is the story of how we all became the greatest hero.”
