Both West Ham and Chelsea recorded respective draws in their Premier League games yesterday.

And after the conclusion of both games, West Ham announced on their website that they have secured the signature of their hard-hitting Frenchman from Stamford Bridge.

According to Sky Sports, the Hammers have paid a fee close to £30 million for Zouma and he has penned a four-year deal.

When all of that was announced, the 26-year-old took to his socials where he stated that he was ‘so happy’ to be part of his new chapter in East London.

Several Chelsea players responded to Zouma’s post, with Reece James writing “Gonna miss you LAB.”

Mason Mount, who grew a strong friendship with Zouma, added by saying: “Miss you already bro.”

Both Ross Barkley and the recently-departed Liverpool winger, Xherdan Shaqiri, wished the central-defender ‘good luck’.

This is quite the signing by West Ham, who have finally added a significant outfit player to their ranks.

There’s not long before the summer transfer window slams shut and it’s going to be interesting if any last-minute deals are concluded by the club.

Of course, one certain Jesse Lingard will be on the lips of many fans, it’s just a case of whether the Hammers will make their move.

If they do then it would be one productive window for David Moyes, although trying to secure another striker is also needed before that Tuesday deadline.
