Wolverhampton Wanderers have made a bid for Marseille central defender Duje Caleta-Car, according to RMC Sport.
It has been reported that Wolves have offered French club Marseille €15 million (£12.85m) for the 24-year-old Croatia international.
It now remains to be seen if Marseille will accept the bid and whether the player himself would be open to a move to Wolves.
Could a transfer happen?
Wolves seem very determined to sign Caleta-Car before the summer transfer window closes next week.
Earlier this week, Sky Sports reported interest from Wolves in the centre-back.
The report added that if the Croatian is to leave Marseille this summer, then he wants to keep playing in a European competition.

Wolves will not play in the Champions League or the Europa League this season.
It is very unlikely that the Wanderers will feature in either competition next season.
Sky Sports also reported that Marseille are looking for €20 million (£17.14m) as transfer fee for Caleta-Car.
Wolves’ bid, according to RMC Sport, is only €15 million (£12.85m).
So, unless the Wanderers increase their offer and are able to convince the defender to make the move, a transfer is unlikely to happen.
Caleta-Car scored two goals and gave one assist in 32 Ligue 1 starts for Marseille last season.
