Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane was convinced into staying at the club after talks with Fabio Paratici and Nuno Espirito Santo.
That’s according to Football.London, who state that Kane and his representatives held ‘positive talks’ with Nuno and Paratici following his return to training.
That all culminated in Wednesday’s big news, with Kane confirming that he is staying with Tottenham this season.
Maybe the questions over his future will come up again next summer, but Tottenham’s talisman is staying put for now.
For some time, it looked like Kane would be heading to Manchester City, but Daniel Levy has refused to budge and has now managed to keep his man.
Kane will now be in contention to start against Pacos de Ferreira tonight, having featured as a substitute against Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend.
This maybe speaks to a bright future at Tottenham.

For Kane to be convinced into staying by these talks, it all suggests that Paratici and Nuno have sold him on the plans for the club.
Paratici is busy working on potential new signings, and he has already bagged a couple of exciting signings in Cristian Romero and Bryan Gil.
With more to come, maybe Kane feels Tottenham will be in a better place to compete than they were before Paratici’s arrival.
As for Nuno, he’s picked up two wins to start the new Premier League season, and with his approach seemingly a little more expansive than it was under Jose Mourinho, Kane could sense a better campaign on the horizon.
