We often take moments to reflect back on our childhood and most of us remember who or what we wanted to be when we grew up.
You may have wanted to be an astronaut, a footballer, a scientist, a director – the list goes on. However, there are millions who probably wanted nothing more than to be Spider-Man. Even now, perhaps the child in us aches for the same thing. After seeing the recently unveiled footage for Tom Holland’s third stand-alone outing, you wouldn’t be deemed foolish for that at all.
Over the years, superhero cinema has come a long way. Back when audiences flocked to see 2000’s X-Men, despite how revolutionary it was, perhaps nobody could have imagined something with the sweeping scope of Avengers: Endgame.
Recent efforts such as Black Panther and Thor: Ragnarok have earned a wealth of praise, but when it comes to sweet nostalgia, is there anything better than looking back over Spidey’s history on the screen?
Beginning with Sam Raimi’s 2002 blockbuster, we have seen seven live-action films and three incarnations of the hero, and with another installment on the way, it’s worth knowing where to watch all Spider-Man movies in preparation…
Where to watch all Spider-Man movies: Streaming explained
Before highlighting where to watch them, let’s break the films down into categories for a moment.
Firstly, there is Sam Raimi’s trilogy starring Tobey Maguire in the titular role, which lasted from 2002 until 2007. Next, we saw Marc Webb take over the director’s chair with Andrew Garfield stepping in to portray Peter Parker.
The pair collaborated on two movies between 2012 and 2014, with Jon Watts then coming in to direct Homecoming and Far From Home between 2017 and 2019; Tom Holland reprised the web-slinger role after debuting in Civil War.

Are the Spider-Man movies on Netflix?
Spider-Man: Far From Home is available on UK Netflix at the moment. However, the other films are currently unavailable.
If you’re looking to marathon all three eras of Spider-Man then it’ll cost a fair price.
Over on Amazon Video (UK), Raimi’s first and third Spidey films are only available to buy, with the installments priced at £4.99, but the second can be rented from £2.49.
Similarly, the Amazing entries are £4.99; the more recent Homecoming is 5.99. Alternatively, DVD and Blu-ray options are available too.
