According to Mais Futebol, Tottenham remain interested in FC Porto forward Luis Diaz, with his agent now on his way to England.
What’s the story?
Well, the 24-year-old announced himself this summer after starring for Colombia at the Copa America.
Diaz scored four goals in five games at the tournament, finishing as joint-top scorer alongside Lionel Messi of all players.
Now, Tottenham and Chelsea are interested in bringing the 18-cap Colombia international to the Premier League.
Both London-based clubs are even thinking about making an offer for the man with a £68m release clause shortly, according to Mais Futebol.
Many more clubs are interested in Diaz, which has led to his agent going on a trip of Europe recently.
As stated by Mais Futebol, the striker’s representatives have been to Portugal and Spain, and are now heading to England.
Tottenham must be desperate to sign Luis Diaz

Make no mistake about it – Tottenham’s interest hasn’t just come out of the blue.
In fact, Spurs may potentially be annoyed that Diaz shone at the Copa America, as it truly announced a player they’d been scouting for years to the entirety of Europe.
Yep, that’s right – Spurs have eyed the Colombian for years.

As Antena 2 revealed, the north Londoners have watched Diaz ever since he was at Atletico Junior between 2017 and 2019.
In that respect, if Spurs lose out despite many years of gathering information, it would be a real punch in the gut.
Only time will tell who Diaz’s agent is heading to England to meet.
Hopefully, it is Tottenham, as another centre-forward is desperately needed in N17.
