The Destiny 2 Bungie 30th Anniversary pack has been announced with a release date and price for fans who want to pre-order.

Yesterday’s showcase kickstarted the Season of the Lost and also provided us with a launch day for the much-anticipated The Queen expansion. Bungie’s ginormous Savathun looks incredible with her unique crown and deadly shoulder pads, but she will not arrive until February 22nd next year.

While she will not grace us with her presence for another six months, there’s still plenty to get for the festive season.

Destiny 2 30th Anniversary pack release date

The release date for the Destiny 2 Bungie 30th Anniversary pack is December 7th.

It celebrates Bungie’s existence since 1991, and its website has the following preview:

“Celebrate three decades of gaming with an event that pays homage to the adventures we’ve shared. We can think of no better way to mark the occasion than by continuing on our journey together. And so, with the solar winds at our backs, we humbly invite you to draw your Myth Claymore from its scabbard and join us starside.”

It will begin with a free six-player matchmade activity along with fresh secrets and collectable rewards. While this event will be available for everyone, there will be unique bonuses for buying the bundle.

Price

The Destiny 2 Bungie 30th Anniversary pack only costs £21.99.

It will mark the arrival of a new dungeon which will enable explorers to unlock the new Thorn armour set. This cave of loot will be dangerous, but you’ll be able to protect yourself with the exotic Gjallarhorn rocket launcher.

Overall, the collection will include iconic weapons, armours, ornaments, sparrows, emotes, and more that represent the developer and publisher’s legacy. This collection includes the exclusive Marathon and streetwear-inspired ornament sets.

How to pre-order

You can pre-order the Bungie bundle on either the PSN or Steam store.

There doesn’t appear to be any bonuses for buying the collection before launch, so there’s no need to rush. While the collection of goodies will provide plenty of fresh armour, weapons, and other items, fans may instead wish to pre-order The Witch Queen expansion for £34.99.
